Cal Poly Extended Education Tech Bootcamps employs a philosophy of Learn by Doing.

The Cal Poly Extended Education Cyber Bootcamp is hands-on, with the majority of students’ time spent learning how to monitor and secure systems, networks, and applications, as well as how to appropriately respond to cyber breaches. In the program, you’ll also learn cybersecurity tools and skills like Linux, automation, pen testing, bash scripting, Python for security, incident response, digital forensics, and NIST framework.

Grads of the Cal Poly Extended Education Coding Bootcamp learn web foundations and full-stack development, as well as front-end and back-end development. As part of the program, you’ll also explore tools and applications like HTML, CSS Flexbox, DOM, AJAX, jQuery, Git, SQL, and React. Our coding curriculum qualifies bootcamp graduates for entry-level roles like Junior Software Engineer and Front-End Developer.
