In the UIC Cyber Bootcamp, you’ll join the fight against cybercrime by learning offensive and defensive cybersecurity skills. Throughout the program, you’ll gain experience in Linux, automation, pen testing, bash scripting, Python for security, incident response, digital forensics, and NIST framework.
Coding bootcamp students will explore web development tools, including HTML, CSS Flexbox, and DOM. The program also covers a full stack JavaScript curriculum, including AJAX, jQuery, Git, SQL, and React.
All UIC bootcamp students receive career guidance including resume assistance, interview preparation, and professional networking.
Those interested in learning data analytics, receive visualization, SQL, and Python training as part of the UIC Data Analytics Bootcamp.
No prior knowledge is required for the bootcamps. After submitting an online application, potential students will take a timed nontechnical assessment test covering logical reasoning before receiving an entrance decision.
The University of Illinois Chicago Tech Bootcamps offer early enrollment discounts. Scholarships may be available for current military personnel, veterans, and University of Illinois Chicago alumni, students, employees, and Intro to Cyber attendees. All bootcamp students will receive a UIC Extended Campus certificate upon completion.
